Yep, I know it's already on "Known Issues" but damn, we need someone who knows how to fix it! /F m is no option at all IMHO, because sometimes you just have to write fast and the enterbutton is needed in particular.

I know...
Me and Vlad tried to figure it out, but we cannot replicate the bug, since we never had it (personally, I NEVER expected this).

So, what we though is that it's depeding on some other application and/or systems.

Everyone who has this problem can use this topic to post his computer's configuration, programs running while playing and so on, so we can try to find a common variable.

If you use ICQ while playing ReX you should shut it all down.

Storm Error doesn't show up so much if it's off. (I had the feeling)

Yeah i know it's very annoying but i hope i can shed some light on this issue.
You see.. the Storm error isn't a issue with Rebirth it's a original Diablo issue, i play original Diablo and have the exactly the same Storm error with it's consecuences.

I still hope Rebirth will find a way to fix this but like i said 99% chance the error lies within the original Diablo, hope this is of help to anyone.
Oh and if you want the bug i can send you my Storm.dll file, i think this causes it, but i would make a backup from your Diablo files, just in case

guys, i think the error is in your hardware/cd/cd-rom etc...

i ve never had that message any time!

maybe a memory test with memtest will say that some of your ram is bad ?

or maybe fixing your bios-ram settings can help?

maybe you use windows tuning tools ?that can rumble the system a lot !

don't know any better solution ...

the only i saw, that rex crashed,was when i enabled cool&quiet and played few minutes ... but that crash happened without any message...

so try to disable cool&quit-drivers for AMD64 just by turning the mode from "minimum energy need"(or some like that) to "desktop" in the windows-properties of screen-saver, @ energy-options ...
